The Porsche tower strut mount is uniform across all 911 and 718 model variants as part of the body frame. However, for GT and RS models, which are frequently used on track, the pressure on the strut mount is significantly higher. As a result, catastrophic tower failures are more common in GT/RS models compared to standard models.

To address this, Porsche factory race cars are equipped with Motorsport strut tower reinforcement plates designed to prevent such failures. These reinforcement plates effectively enhance the durability of the strut tower mounts, minimizing the risk of failure.

The performance results are impressive, with race cars rarely experiencing strut mount failures compared to street cars.
To bring this level of durability to GT/RS street cars, SilverRocket has customized these Porsche Motorsport race car strut tower reinforcement plates for a direct fit.

Now, your GT/RS street car can benefit from the same structural strength as a factory race car, allowing you to enjoy track time with the confidence and safety of a professional racing vehicle.

Highlights:

  • Based on genuine Porsche Motorsports race car strut tower reinforcement plates.
  • Proven effective by thousands of Porsche 991 Cup and GT4 factory race cars over several years.
  • Custom-designed by SilverRocket for a direct fit on 718 GT4/GT4 RS street cars.
  • Includes all necessary installation hardware and a detailed installation manual.

Application:

  • All PORSCHE 718 / 981 Models

Recently took delivery of my GT4RS and installed the carbon rollcage by silver rocket. With the Weissach package, a carbon roll cage matches perfectly all the carbon bits in the package especially the carbon air intake. The result turns out above my expectation and it makes the whole car look so much better even compared to the factory cage even the one in titanium.
Have done a number of modifications on different cars and dealt with many after market carbon parts, the quality of the cage is definitely top notched and the fit and finish is perfect, making installation a breeze. Last but not least it actually comes with a 50-page installation manual, going through the installation step by step. Never seen that before even from top tuner like Novetic.
Highly recommend the product!!!

This is very cool, I appreciate all the time + effort you guys spent developing this, it certainly shows in the product as it’s one of the most well thought out designs I’ve seen in aftermarket parts.

Very easy substitution. Visibility is even more enhanced by installing a Goodyear Wide Angle 17IN rear VIEW MIRROR that clips on perfectly over the factory mirror. 2 Thumbs Up!!!

+3" Risers are installed on the stock CS wing. Noting:

  • Risers appear to be well designed and manufactured. Do not expect any stability or strength issues.
  • Install - use the stock / oem mounting brackets, not those included with the kit as those are intended for the SilverRocket wing.
  • Was successful in maintaining the same wing angle (2.1 deg.).
  • Visibility through the stock rear view mirror is much improved and now only limited by the roll cage and roll bar padding.
  • Possibility of increase of rear downforce is not yet known. I have an event later this month at Road America (first time), which should show if there is enough of an increase to result in a potential downforce unbalance between the front and rear. Will also compare at known tracks later this year (Road Atlanta, Sebring, etc.) to better know if any other impacts (top speed, etc.)

Overall, am pleased with the product and installation results at this point.

Buy with confidence from Kimbeli. True Professional.
I recently bought 2 x GT4 RS Clubsport and both ran with extended uprights in their series.
Mainly for better rear vision, with the extra benefit of more downforce.
